Welcome to grasruts zine, a place that offers West Midlands artists a platform to meet and grow. Our mission is to bring you art news and gossip from the West Midlands area, to report and review exhibitions and to give space to emerging creatives. Founded in 2023 by two students from Coventry University, we are a growing community and platform publishing a quarterly edition on line and in print, now we have ten issues produced, proudly supporting over seventy artists. 

We held our first grasruts exhibition in 2024 and our 2nd birthday party at the newly opened Priory Visitors Centre - the home of the LTB, Coventry on the 25th July 2025. The event brought creatives in art and music and performance from all over the West Midlands in collaboration, showcasing artists we have supported in our publications during the last year.
